About The Position

The Revenue Team Manager leads and manages a team of Revenue Specialists to ensure the accurate and timely processing of all accounts receivable activities. This role directly supports the company’s financial health and operational efficiency by developing team capability, fostering accountability, and driving consistent execution of billing and collections workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field, or commensurate work experience
  • 5–7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition standards, and AR processes
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools
  • Resourceful and creative problem solver
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen, encourage, influence, and resolve conflicts
  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Able to lead a team to achieve high-level goals by initiating detailed, actionable plans
  • Attentive to the skill level and performance of direct reports
  • Able to effectively and appropriately delegate work as necessary, while following up on timeliness and quality

Responsibilities

  • Provide Leadership, Management, and Accountability (LMA) by setting clear expectations, guiding daily team operations, facilitating alignment with revenue goals, conducting recurring team meetings, and developing direct reports through coaching, mentoring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and document Revenue processes and ensure they are consistently followed by all team members.
  • Identify process and system improvements and drive execution.
  • Ensure team accuracy and assist with questions and clearing team roadblocks.
  • Execute monthly client financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures and support audits.
