This role exists to maintain the integrity of that system while reducing operational burden on leadership. As Revenue Systems Manager, you will focus on enforcing execution standards, maintaining a clean and reliable pipeline, and acting as the central coordination point for revenue-related issues. You will also support the documentation and organization of processes to ensure the system can scale without relying on tribal knowledge. This role is focused on protecting what has already been built, identifying breakdowns quickly, and ensuring they are resolved through structured follow-through.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–6+ years of experience in revenue operations, finance systems, or related roles
  • Experience with different billing platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally with other departments within the organization

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Background in SaaS, subscription billing, or high-volume transaction environments
  • Experience with system implementations or migrations
  • Familiarity with automation tools or scripting

Responsibilities

  • Act as the central intake point for all revenue-related issues, gaps, and breakdowns
  • Organize and categorize issues across sales, customer success, support, and partners
  • Assign ownership and route issues to the appropriate teams
  • Track issues through resolution and ensure nothing is left incomplete
  • Maintain clear visibility into open issues and provide structured updates
  • Identify patterns and recurring breakdowns and surface them for system-level improvement
  • Monitor pipeline for stalled, inactive, or low-quality deals
  • Flag deals that do not meet defined progression criteria
  • Enforce cleanup of dead or misleading pipeline
  • Ensure pipeline reflects actual deal state without interpretation
  • Document processes, workflows, and system behaviors to improve clarity and scalability
  • Assist in preparing training materials and internal enablement resources
  • Organize and structure operational information so it can be easily referenced and reused
  • Support the founder in capturing and formalizing ad hoc processes into repeatable systems
  • Reduce dependency on founder-driven coordination and follow-up
