About The Position

Laurel is on a mission to return time. As the leading AI Time platform for professional services firms, we’re transforming how organizations capture, analyze, and optimize their most valuable resource: time. Our proprietary machine learning technology automates work time capture and connects time data to business outcomes, enabling firms to increase profitability, improve client delivery, and make data-driven strategic decisions. We serve many of the world's largest accounting and law firms, including EY, Aprio, Crowell & Moring, and Frost Brown Todd, and process over 1 billion work activities annually that have never been collected and aggregated before Laurel’s AI Time platform. Our team comprises top talent in AI, product development, and engineering—innovative, humble, and forward-thinking professionals committed to redefining productivity in the knowledge economy. We're building solutions that empower workers to deliver twice the value in half the time, giving people more time to be creative and impactful. If you're passionate about transforming how people work and building a lasting company that explores the essence of time itself, we'd love to meet you. About the Role: We're looking for someone to be the right-hand person to our Chief Revenue Officer. You'll be right in the middle of our go-to-market efforts, working directly with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. This isn't just about building strategy decks but about rolling up your sleeves and getting things done. We need someone who can take high-level strategy and actually make it happen on the ground, ensuring our revenue organization runs fast, smart, and effectively. We specifically want someone with a rigorous analytical background (think Management Consulting, top-tier investment banking, or PE/VC operations) who has already made the jump from advising to actually operating. If you prefer sitting back and purely strategizing, this isn't the job for you. You need to be deeply engaged with our frontline teams and have a serious bias for action.

Requirements

  • We are looking for an AI-first thinker who operates at the frontier of AI. We expect you to be using AI natively to think, test, and execute faster than others while maintaining strong judgment and ownership, producing original, high-signal work rather than delegating thinking to prompts alone.
  • Ideally, you have 3+ years at a top consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG), in investment banking, or in an operating role at a PE/VC firm. Experience in Strategy & Ops at a high-growth AI company is also great.
  • You're an operator at heart: You have the analytical chops, but you'd rather be doing the work than just making slides about it.
  • People want to work with you: You lead by influence and take ownership naturally. Commercial teams genuinely want you in their corner.
  • You know how to talk to people: You instinctively calibrate your tone and can handle sensitive conversations internally and externally with care.
  • You navigate the mess: Ambiguity doesn't scare you. If the path isn't clear, you figure it out and take ownership without waiting to be told what to do.
  • You actually use AI: You don't just use AI to write emails; you use it to build systems, get leverage, and improve how the GTM team actually works.
  • You care about details: You're perfectly happy digging into the weeds—whether it's pipeline data or the specifics of a single deal.
  • You run a tight ship: Your calendar is color coded. Your notes are organized. You show up prepared. Nothing slips because you build systems that prevent slippage.

Nice To Haves

  • If you've worked directly in Sales and/or with Marketing, or CS teams before, that's a massive plus.

Responsibilities

  • Keeping the trains running on time: You'll manage the day-to-day operating rhythm for the CRO: Leadership meetings and pipeline reviews to QBRs and sales kickoffs.
  • Getting in the trenches: You won't be managing from an ivory tower. You'll sit in on deal reviews, dig into pipeline numbers, figure out where we're dropping the ball, and jump in to fix execution gaps in real time. You'll also help strategize on complex deals to get them across the finish line.
  • Crunching the numbers: You'll own our forecasting frameworks and performance dashboards. Working closely with Finance and RevOps, you'll spot trends and risks, translating raw data into actionable insights our leadership can actually use.
  • Driving the big projects: You'll take the lead on major initiatives across the GTM org, making sure they actually get finished on time and deliver real results.
  • Executive support: You'll help put together board materials, investor updates, and internal messaging, shaping how we talk about our strategy and performance across the company.
  • Hitting the road: Expect to travel frequently. You'll be visiting key offices, meeting with customers, and helping drive execution in person alongside the CRO.

Benefits

  • To date, we've secured significant funding from renowned venture capitalists (Google Ventures, IVP, Anthos, Upfront Ventures), as well as notable individuals like Marc Benioff, Gokul Rajaram, Kevin Weil, and Alexis Ohanian
  • A smart, fun, collaborative, and inclusive team
  • Great employee benefits, including equity and 401K
  • Bi-annual, in-person company off-sites, in unique locations, to grow and share time with the team
  • An opportunity to perform at your best while growing, making a meaningful impact on the company's trajectory, and embodying our core values: understanding your "why," dancing in the rain, being your whole self, and sanctifying time
