Revenue Recognition Senior Specialist
About The Position
Experienced CPA (or in progress) ideal for this high profile financial accounting analyst role in an international company headquartered near Reston, VA In accordance with US GAAP you will work closely with the sales and contracts teams to ensure proper accounting in accordance with revenue recognition standards. Reporting to a Senior Director you will have extensive interaction with global operations, user groups and executive teams responsible for all financial reporting, technical accounting and compliance as well as financial analysis of possible implications and impact to the company both short and long term. This company has a very unique opportunity for interesting, complex work with little to no overtime and work life balance options. Ideal candidate has 4+ years work experience in public or corporate accounting with specific expertise in revenue recognition accounting and analysis, a desire to work in a close knit, globally based team where long term career opportunities exist for those who want to move up and work at a more executive leadership level long term. This role requires you to be independently motivated, able to meet deadlines and communicate well with both executives and stakeholders .Deep-level understanding/familiarity with new revenue standards (ASC 606) required, little to no travel or overtime required. Requirements
- CPA (or in progress)
