About The Position

ESO is looking for a visionary leader to own the strategic and operational excellence of our revenue function. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be the connective tissue across our marketing, sales, and customer success teams, ensuring every part of our commercial motion is in sync. This is a critical role for a builder who can balance long-term strategic initiatives with near-term execution to drive predictable and profitable growth across ESO's diverse and deep portfolio and global presence.

Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a related function within a high-growth B2B SaaS environment. Experience working in a vertical SaaS company is highly preferred.
  • Analytical Prowess: Proven expertise in revenue forecasting, pipeline analysis, and modeling. You can translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
  • Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce) and a strong understanding of the broader RevOps technology landscape.
  • Strategic Mindset: An ability to think several steps ahead like a chess player, anticipating how decisions will impact the business down the road.
  • Leadership and Influence: A track record of successfully leading, motivating, and influencing cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics clearly and confidently to executive leadership.
  • Vertical SaaS Acumen: A deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the vertical SaaS model, including customer retention, expansion, and the importance of a seamless customer journey.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Alignment: Partner with executive leadership to define and operationalize the company's commercial growth strategy. This includes collaborating on market segmentation, target setting, headcount planning, and territory design to align with our overall business objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Drive efficiency and scalability across the entire customer lifecycle. Continuously analyze and improve the sales process, from lead generation through deal closing for all transaction types. Work closely with Deal/Sales Operations to refine and optimize sales workflows and CRM usage to increase efficiency and visibility.
  • Revenue Analytics and Forecasting: Own the company's revenue forecasting methodology and reporting. Provide accurate, data-driven insights into pipeline health, revenue trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform strategic decisions for the board and executive team.
  • Technology and Systems: Manage the applicable components of the revenue technology stack, including the CRM (Salesforce, Highspot, and Gong as systems of record and PowerBI as data revelation layer). Ensure seamless data integration, data integrity, and high user adoption.
  • Sales and Compensation Design: Work with sales leadership, finance and HR to design, manage, and continuously refine compensation plans that motivate high performance and align with company revenue goals.
  • Enablement and Training: Develop and deliver enablement programs that equip our revenue teams with the necessary training, playbooks, and tools to execute repeatable processes and improve productivity.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a key partner to leaders in Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Product to ensure a cohesive and exceptional end-to-end customer experience.
  • Design and Manage Strategy: for ESO's four Revenue Operations pillars: Deal Operations, Data Operations, Program Operations, and Worldwide Sales Enablement.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and build a high-performing Revenue Operations team capable of scaling with the company's growth.
