About The Position

We are looking for a Revenue Operations, Contracts Specialist to join us in New York, ensur ing efficiency, consistency, and governance across our commercial contracting lifecycle. This position acts as a central liaison between Sales, Legal, and other internal partners, ensuring that commercial agreements are executed accurately, efficiently, and in line with company policies. This role directly supports our growth by enabling increased sales velocity, reducing administrative friction for commercial and legal teams, and strengthening data integrity and reporting across the proposal and contracting stages of the sales cycle. Your work will help ensure that deals move smoothly from proposal to execution, with clear governance and reliable data underpinning commercial decision-making.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in revenue operations, sales operations, deal desk, contracts operations, or a related commercial operations role, ideally within a SaaS or financial technology environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting end-to-end commercial contracting processes, including proposal generation, order forms, approvals, and handoff to billing or accounting teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, including opportunity management, forecasting hygiene, and data governance best practices.
  • Experience working with contract lifecycle management tools, quoting tools, or adjacent commercial systems, with the ability to adapt as automation is introduced.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with Sales, Legal, Finance, Security, and Compliance stakeholders to drive timely deal execution.
  • Solid understanding of commercial deal structures, pricing components, approval frameworks, and common negotiation levers.
  • High attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to ensure contractual accuracy, data integrity, and alignment between commercial documents and system records.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deals across different stages of the sales cycle.
  • Analytical mindset, with experience identifying process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for standardisation or automation.
  • Ability to document and maintain clear operational processes, playbooks, and decision logs to support scalability and consistency.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesise deal context and articulate risks or trade-offs to stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate with ownership of defined workstreams and influence outcomes without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the generation and management of order forms and commercial proposals, acting as the primary operational owner of contracting execution.
  • Serve as front-line support for contract and quote generation, approvals, and scenario analysis in line with established business rules.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate contracting workflows, including integrations between Salesforce and contract lifecycle management tools.
  • Act as the central point of coordination across Legal, Finance, Sales, Security, and other internal stakeholders to align on contract terms, risk considerations, and approvals.
  • Develop, maintain , and evolve contracting process documentation, negotiation playbooks, and approved commercial levers to support consistent deal execution.
  • Ensure all contracts adhere to company policies, approved commercial frameworks, and legal requirements.
  • Review executed order forms and proposals to confirm complete and accurate alignment with Salesforce opportunity data prior to deal closure.
  • Own the administrative activities to progress opportunities to closed status, including required data entry, documentation, and handoff to billing and accounting teams.
  • Maintain ownership of data quality and reporting for opportunities in the proposal and contracting stages, providing visibility into deal status, blockers, and approval dependencies.
  • Lead administrative coordination for deal desk processes, including intake preparation, documentation of commercial scenarios, and facilitation of cross-functional decision-making.
  • Document deal desk decisions and identify recurring commercial themes to support the development of standardised policies and governance frameworks.
