About The Position

The Revenue Manager will play a crucial role in developing, analyzing, and communicating pricing strategies to maximize revenue across our multifamily portfolio. This position requires a highly analytical and experienced professional with a strong understanding of revenue management principles and a focus on analyzing market data to optimize pricing decisions and overall revenue performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration or a related field required.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in pricing/revenue management; preferably within the multifamily housing industry.
  • Thorough understanding of RealPage platforms.
  • Proficiency in analyzing operating/income statements to evaluate performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Strong business writing skills for clear and concise communication.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively with limited direction.
  • Ability to adapt to changing demands and operate with a high degree of flexibility.
  • Strong project management skills, including effective time management, organization, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Technology skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Internet research; experience with MRI, Yardi, LRO, or AIRM/YieldStar, or knowledge of SQL queries and report writing is helpful.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with no major infractions in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Manage revenue for properties utilizing AIRM/Yieldstar within the portfolio, collaborating with multiple management companies.
  • Analyze data from various sources to identify trends and opportunities for optimizing operating performance.
  • Oversee the management and seamless execution of the revenue management platform.
  • Conduct regular pricing calls with third-party managers to monitor and analyze the relationship between pricing practices and market performance.
  • Collaborate to develop and promote effective strategies for maximizing rent revenue for each community.
  • Address pricing concerns and requests promptly and effectively.
  • Prepare regular reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) on revenue performance and benchmarking, for distribution to property and corporate leadership.
  • Ensure revenue management best practices are consistently applied to new lease and renewal pricing.
  • Implement pricing plans based on sound, data-driven lease pricing strategies.
  • Evaluate performance on a monthly basis and incorporate findings into potential strategy adjustments for the following month.
  • Provide rental income data for the annual budgeting process.
  • Assist with the preparation of forecasts and re-forecasts as requested.
  • Conduct market research and collaborate with regional leaders to determine the competitive positioning of properties.
