About The Position

The Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing revenue and profit for a luxury hotel by setting and implementing pricing strategies and managing inventory. This position requires a deep understanding of market trends and analysis, as well as a keen eye for detail and exceptional communication and negotiation skills. The Revenue Manager will work closely with Sales and Marketing, Finance, Front Office, Operations, and Reservations and other departments to ensure the resort meets its financial goals and objectives. This role is accountable for maximizing topline performance, strengthening guest conversion, and ensuring a seamless pre-arrival experience aligned with Regent’s refined luxury standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Revenue Management, within luxury hotel segment (Forbes 5-Star, Michelin Key, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of revenue management principles, strategies, and tactics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, working with large data sets and identifying trends.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with revenue management software and tools, including revenue management systems (especially N2), channel managers, and pricing tools, IHG systems knowledge is a plus.
  • Knowledge of RevPAR Index growth and top-quartile profit performance in competitive markets.
  • Expert-level Excel modeling skills; proficiency in Power BI or Tableau is a strong plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and achieving financial goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with Forbes and AAA standards.
  • Open to relocation across the U.S. to support career development and operational needs.
  • Flexibility to work evenings/weekends when major city-wide events or pacing require.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies for all market segments and room types to maximize revenue and profit.
  • Analyze market trends and competition to ensure that the hotel is competitive in pricing and positioning.
  • Manage inventory to ensure that the hotel is properly balanced and optimized for revenue and occupancy.
  • Prepare and analyze revenue and market trends reports identifying opportunities and improvement areas.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to ensure group related
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure that pricing and inventory strategies are aligned with the hotel's overall business objectives and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners such as travel agents, wholesalers, and other business partners.
  • Provide training and guidance to the front office and reservations team to ensure that they are fully informed and equipped to handle pricing and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to manage and control expenses related to revenue management.
  • Handle all special reservations, including V.I.P. reservations, packages, and discounts.
  • Attend revenue management meetings and participate in corporate revenue management initiatives as needed.
