About The Position

Pilgrim Place is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end revenue cycle across our continuum of care. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in supporting the financial health of a mission-driven Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) serving older adults in a vibrant, inclusive environment. The Revenue Cycle Manager is a hands-on, individual contributor responsible for billing, collections, payer relations, and revenue integrity across Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living. This role works closely with Admissions, Clinical, and Finance teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant revenue processes while delivering a positive experience for residents and their families.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of revenue cycle experience in healthcare or senior living
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay billing
  • Experience across multiple levels of care (SNF, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Independent Living preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the revenue cycle function
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a CCRC or Life Plan Community
  • Familiarity with long-term care insurance
  • Experience with systems such as PointClickCare, MatrixCare, or similar
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full revenue cycle, including billing, claims, collections, and denial resolution
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing across all levels of care
  • Monitor accounts receivable and drive strategies to reduce aging and improve cash flow
  • Serve as the primary contact for Medicare, Medicaid, insurance providers, and private pay residents
  • Resolve billing questions and concerns with professionalism and care
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics such as AR days, denial rates, and collections
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations
  • Support audits and maintain accurate documentation
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate census and payer data
