Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD-10), payer rules, and compliance requirements (HIPAA, CMS). Billing-relevant certification preferred (CPC, CPAR, etc.)
  • Proven track record of improving revenue cycle KPIs and reducing denials.
  • Experience with EHR and RCM systems
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • A patient-first mindset with the ability to balance financial goals and compassionate service.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire revenue cycle process, including patient billing, coding, collections, and accounts receivable management
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve revenue cycle efficiency and accuracy
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and financial teams to ensure compliance with regulations and billing standards
  • Manage billing, coding, and collections staff, providing training and support to enhance productivity and accuracy
  • Resolve complex billing and reimbursement issues, working with payers and patients as needed
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of claims and follow-up on unpaid or denied claims
  • Stay current with industry regulations, payer policies, and best practices in revenue cycle management
