This position involves monitoring the quality and productivity of the Revenue Cycle Management Operations (RCMO) Accounts Receivable (AR) and charge entry teams. This is achieved through direct supervision of staff and by setting and monitoring individual and department targets. The supervisor is also responsible for improving and automating production services as appropriate, and recommending changes and efficiencies to the Director. The role requires effective communication with directors, administrators, and executive staff. A practical knowledge and experience in all functions of the revenue cycle, including registration, insurance verification, financial counseling, and benefit determination, is essential. The position provides direct supervision to activities within a billing department, encompassing accounts receivable and other reimbursement-related activities.
