About The Position

This position monitors the quality and productivity of the RCMO AR and charge entry teams through the direct supervision of staff, and by setting and monitoring individual and department targets. Improves and automates production services as appropriate, recommending change and efficiencies to the Director. This position is able to effectively communicate with directors, administrators, and executive staff. This position requires a practical knowledge and experience in all functions of the revenue cycle, including registration, insurance verification, financial counseling, and benefit determination. Provides direct supervision to activities of a billing department to include accounts receivable, and other reimbursement related activities.

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years comprehensive medical billing experience to include: Experience in managing registration, insurance verification, and benefit determination functions
Minimum 2 years supervisory or team leader experience
General understanding and application of complex accounting principles

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
College experience in related field i.e. business or healthcare etc.
