About The Position

Star Dental Partners (SDP) is currently seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Insurance Coordinator to join our high-growth and fast-paced Dental Service Organization (DSO). This position will interact with insurance companies to follow-up on open claims, post insurance payments, process patient and insurance refunds. SDP is a DSO that assists dental practices with non-clinical challenges and provides industry proven business support services.   • 2 years of collections, accounts receivable, and/or related experience within healthcare required
  • Experience in Practice Management Software (PMS) required

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year experience as a revenue cycle insurance coordinator within the dental industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Enter payments and adjustments at the Provider level with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Collect and review all required patient insurance information to complete the billing, collections, appeal, and/or cash processes.
  • Assist in performing day end and month end processing.
  • Process dental insurance EOBs, appeals, denials, and following up with denial resolutions appropriately.
  • Research and resolve any electronic claim rejections.
  • Process any necessary insurance or patient correspondence.
  • Independently analyze, report, and communicate any reimbursement trends or delays, such as billing denials, claim denials, pricing errors, payments, etc.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the Revenue Cycle department.
