About The Position

Position Overview: This position will perform and maintain assigned customer billing processes. Report to the Billing Success Manager with any discrepancies that require direct supervision or managerial support. This position will also require focusing on specific assigned accounts that require additional support after invoicing. The billing associate will use general problem solving to maintain processes.

Requirements

Bachelors degree preferred
At least 3 years’ relevant industry experience for invoicing or account management preferred
Ability to function with little supervision
Flexibility of working hours
Strong analytical skills

Nice To Haves

General accounting knowledge
Strong knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office products

Responsibilities

Maintain assigned Customer Billing processes.
Daily/ Weekly reconciliation for assigned accounts. Reconciliation cadence will be customer/client specific as some customers will require more frequent reconciliation.
Research ways to condense volume on assigned accounts by incorporating report automation, utilization of Microsoft Excel, and frequent customer/client communications as it relates to account requirements.
Identify and communicate process improvements to leadership
Bring awareness to leadership accounts that are good candidates for the Third Party (BPTS) to handle so that our team can focus on more complex accounts that require special attention.
Perform accurate and timely submissions for billing processes. The standard is within 24 hours of posting for individual invoice billing.
Identify discrepancies within billing processes using a combination of research and customer-based knowledge.
Prioritize accounts that require additional work to increase time management to focus on all assigned duties.
Effective/Prompt communication when assistance is needed to help one succeed in their role.
Aid in backup for the Region leads as it pertains to but not limited to Document Audit, Audit Exception portal, etc.
