About The Position

The Revenue Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate revenue recognition, reporting, and analysis across multiple business lines. This position partners closely with FP&A, Sales, Operations, and Contracts teams to ensure revenue is recorded in accordance with ASC 606 and internal controls, while also supporting process improvement and scalable finance operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of revenue accounting experience (public accounting experience a plus)
Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 and contract-based revenue models
Experience in a multi-entity, high-volume transaction environment preferred
ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage deadlines
Excellent communication skills and comfort partnering cross-functionally

Nice To Haves

CPA or CPA-eligible
Experience in services-based organizations is a plus
Exposure to accounting system implementations or revenue automation tools

Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly revenue journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Ensure compliance with ASC 606, including contract review, performance obligations, allocation, and timing of revenue recognition
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to review customer contracts, amendments, and pricing structures
Support month-end and quarter-end close activities related to revenue
Reconcile deferred revenue, unbilled receivables, and other revenue-related balance sheet accounts
Assist with internal and external audits, including documentation preparation and audit inquiries
Develop and maintain revenue accounting policies and process documentation
Identify opportunities to improve revenue processes, automation, and internal controls as the business scales
Support ad hoc analysis and special projects related to revenue and system implementations
