About The Position

Arrow Electronics is currently seeking a dedicated and team-oriented Post Production Services Lead to join our team in the providing after sale services to our customers. The Returns Technician Lead provides work instruction and prioritizes tasks for the team to ensure integration safety, quality, and production objectives and schedules are met. The successful Returns Technician Lead provides training, and performs complex technician functions including performing complex builds and complex troubleshooting with or without a build plan. The Returns Technician Leader serves as second level technical escalation for area technicians and point of problem resolution on production process issues. Escalates issues and problems to management and/or appropriate support groups as necessary.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years technical assembly and software loading experience.
  • 3+ years working in repairs of computers/servers.
  • Ability to perform complex troubleshooting and repairs of returned computers.
  • Ability to continually stand and walk for entire shift.
  • Ability to identify and resolve production process issues.
  • Capability to regularly bend, twist, stoop, and reach.
  • Ability to consistently lift, handle, and push product and equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be reliable and report consistently to your scheduled shift, including overtime hours.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work within timeframes
  • Good communication skills.
  • Reading, writing, and understanding of English language.
  • Ability to follow written instructions.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Must be comfortable working under safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing simple to moderately complex troubleshooting and repairs of returned computing products.
  • Prepare returned product for disassembly. De-integrate returned computer products.
  • Perform software loading, product testing, and system configuration per build plan.
  • Process and transfer product. Perform Eval/Triage repair and re-integrate products.
  • Create and apply product labeling, pack-out product and maintain all product documentation.
