JOB SUMMARY: This is a Return Resolution Specialist - Revenue Specialist II position in the General Tax Administration Program, Return Reconciliation Process, Sales and Miscellaneous Tax Unit. The incumbent reviews and ensures the information filed on tax returns conforms to the instructions, rules, and statutes that govern the individual taxes, and issues the correctly computed bill for failure of the taxpayer to do so. The incumbent also verifies the correct payments are applied to the accounts and returns.
