Cerity Partners is searching for talented, bright, and motivated individuals with the highest level of personal integrity to join our Retirement Plan Services team for the summer of 2026. This is a paid internship program (30-40 hours/week) and a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in a professional environment. This role is ideal for someone looking for authentic exposure to the financial industry at a nationally recognized registered investment advisory.

Requirements

  • Be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA
  • Majoring in Finance, Financial Planning, Accounting, or related business degree
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Actively participating in campus organizations, preferably within a leadership role, and/or professional work experience
  • Identify with Cerity Partner’s mission and demonstrate our core values
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Shadow our Client Relationship Managers and Financial Wellness Coaches
  • Participate in various types of client presentations
  • Provide ongoing support to the team while ensuring requests/needs are managed in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate client records as needed
  • Research and gain basic knowledge of investment accounts, products and the forms required to transact business.
  • Assist with internal coordination across departments to ensure tasks / follow-up are completed in a timely manner.
  • Provide maintenance and quality control of CRM.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve general processes, receive/provide feedback as needed.
  • Obtain e-Money Certification
  • Work with a team virtually to create a financial planning project or other projects
  • Other duties as assigned.
