About The Position

As a Retirement Plan Services Specialist, you will provide day-to-day service and support for Plan Premier Third-Party Administrator (PPTPA) customers responding to inquiries received via inbound phone calls, emails, and online portal. You will liaise with internal and external contacts including the plan sponsor, financial professional, TPAs and business partners (e.g., Empower Institutional) to ensure accurate ongoing administration of plans. You will respond to requests from external auditors; evaluate the purpose of the audit and information requested to provide appropriate data. Your scope will include educating clients on web tools, admin features, pricing, and product features/services; providing an in-depth overview of system and product features, functionality and processing as needed.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of administration of retirement plan design, terminology, regulations and procedures and ability to apply to work assignments.
  • Working knowledge of Retirement Plan Services (RPS) operations, capabilities, and product offerings and ability to apply to work assignments.
  • Highly resourceful and a critical thinker.
  • Think outside the box and present alternative solutions.
  • Action oriented with excellent problem-solving skills to tackle complex inquiries/requests.
  • Enjoy collaborating and maintaining relationships, both internally and externally, and pride yourself on your strong communication skills.
  • High learning agility and enjoy staying informed of the company's products and services, policies and procedures and applicable regulations and legal requirements.
  • ASPPA Retirement Plan Fundamentals (RPF) Certificate
  • 401(k), 401(b) Retirement Plan Knowledge.
