About The Position

Analyzes retirement programs to strengthen longterm financial wellbeing, partnering with stakeholders to create meaningful employee-owner experiences, empower confident financial decision making, and ensure plans remain compliant and supportive throughout every stage of employment Partners with current retirement broker and third-party administrators to ensure ESOP and 401k plans are administered accurately and in accordance with all regulatory requirements. Partners with leadership to recommend and support plan enhancements. Coordinates periodic vendor reviews (recordkeeper, TPA, and broker), benchmarking services and fees. Monitors legislative and regulatory changes, recommending plan updates as needed. Ensures all compliance activities - including 401k testing, 415c testing, 5500 filings, required notices and audit support - are completed accurately and on time. Collaborates with the team to identify opportunities to minimize compliance risk. Oversees correction of 401k operational errors under IRS and DOL correction programs. Supports annual ESOP operational requirements, including compilation of census data, diversification, distribution, participant statements and coordination with the finance and accounting teams to meet internal deadlines. Identifies and recommends partners and resources that help employee-owners build and sustain wealth from onboarding through retirement offboarding, ensuring a best-in-class experience. Provides retirement transition support, including education on distribution options, rollover processes and timing considerations. Collaborates with each company division to educate and promote ESOP ownership, ensuring alignment with holding company culture and goals. Supports employee-owners across all divisions with retirement-related questions and financial wellness needs, providing timely and professional support. Works closely with team on various projects, including acquisitions, EO hub and technology processes and company health programs.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of labor law and benefits, met by 3-5 years of professional work experience in Human Resources using an HRIS for payroll and HR functions.
  • Ability to travel to divisions across the US as needed.
  • Proficient with a wide range of software tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google and HRIS platforms such as Workday
  • Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, organized, and analytical
  • Strong verbal, math, and written communication skills
  • Ability to create strong working relationships with internal partners (payroll, finance, HR, division leadership) as well as external partners, collaborating to create best in class practices and offerings.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment with diverse settings.
