The retention specialist will work under the supervision of the project directors and project manager. The position will provide intake assessment, deliver the psychoeducation program, and provide follow up services to participants in the project. The successful applicant will be expected to live and work in the State of Delaware near the Delaware VR agency for the duration of the project. The retention specialist will receive referrals and screening surveys from potential participants, confirm eligibility with partner agencies for the project, schedule and host training programs for participants, and provide follow up support contacts to participants under the general supervision of the Project Director. The duties are reviewing referral and screening materials, communicating with partner agencies and participants, scheduling and time management, providing group-based education services, and record keeping. Additional duties include assisting with scheduling and managing team, committee, and partner meetings. Support the hiring and onboarding of other project staff. Attend meetings and participate in committee meetings. This position has an FTE range of .6- 1.0. The project, an integrated, technology-enhanced approach to building capacity for job retention among persons with disabilities in competitive integrated employment, seeks to demonstrate a multi-modal intervention to support the job retention of individuals with disabilities served by the state vocational rehabilitation program. A research team at UW Madison, known as IPARRT, runs this project through the Wisconsin Center for Education Research at the University of Wisconsin Madison.
