The Retail Project Coordinator provides high‑level administrative, logistical, and project support to Retail Superintendents and the Retail Project Manager. This role ensures projects run smoothly by coordinating materials, managing documentation, and anticipating the needs of field teams. A successful candidate is organized, proactive, accurate, and able to maintain momentum across multiple ongoing projects.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in project coordination, administrative support, or a related field.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer‑service mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction, industrial, or commercial service environments strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support Retail Superintendents with logistics, scheduling, manpower coordination, materials procurement, lodging, and jobsite requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain project status reports; track deadlines, deliverables, and key project milestones.
  • Maintain tracking reports, cost logs, and other reporting tools to help superintendents and project managers stay ahead of budget and schedule.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure materials, equipment, labor, lodging, and transportation for painting crews.
  • Ensure accuracy of purchase orders; proactively communicate and resolve any discrepancies with vendors.
  • Attend on‑site or off‑site meetings as delegated by the Retail Project Manager.
  • Support customer communications related to scheduling, budgets, and scope questions with professionalism and clarity.
  • Collaborate with field leadership to ensure proper completion and storage of all safety and compliance documents.
