The Outdoor Associate at House of Sport will be expected to provide thoughtful product recommendations that fit the skill/experience level of each athlete. As the Outdoor Associate, they must deliver an elevated customer service experience that will build meaningful relationships with athletes within the great outdoors, fishing, camping, hiking, etc. Additional responsibilities will also include driving results, ensuring Company standards, and assisting with storewide operations as needed. The role involves bringing to life the power of opinion, ensuring the explorer experience includes product experts who provide consultative advice while demonstrating excellent product knowledge. It also requires upholding standards for merchandise presentation, showcasing the best apparel and equipment brands in sporting goods by following established floor sets, signing requirements, price changes, replenishment and recovery processes, and maintaining in-stock levels. The associate will guide and educate athletes through their purchase by communicating information on use and maintenance of their equipment and accessories.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
1-3 years experience

Nice To Haves

Prior retail experience preferred
