About The Position

The Retail Operations Specialist is responsible for completion of daily Retail Operations workflow and assisting Retail Operations partners with support of the Retail Branch network. The Retail Operations Specialist will serve as a Retail Operations subject matter expert and additional point of contact for Retail Operations support. They will escalate concerns as necessary to business partners and/or department management and serve on project teams to create, test, and implement new processes for new and/or enhancements of technology.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Prior Experience: 1+ years of experience in Banking
  • Possess strong keying skills with a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
  • Dependable in meeting attendance requirements and schedules established for the department.
  • Responds to requests for information in a timely and professional manner.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications with the ability to learn new and existing Banking software.

  • Education: Associate Degree
  • Prior Experience: 3+ years of experience in Banking

Responsibilities

  • Assist in Retail Operations department daily workflow assignments to ensure tasks are completed timely, accurately and per policy and/or procedure.
  • Serve as a point of contact for Retail Operations support. Escalate concerns as necessary to business partners and/or department management articulating conditions and all appropriate background information needed.
  • Complete assigned branches’ Strike Sheets, balancing branch cash drawers to General Ledger Accounts. Complete reviews of Strike Sheet for un-assigned branches ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Monitors Retail Operations Mailbox & Intake, responding to and/or escalating operational issues forwarded by business partners.
  • Works collaboratively with Retail Operations and project teams to create, test, and implement new processes for new and/or enhancements of technology.
  • Works with Retail Operations to understand any needed changes in policies or procedures and assist with documentation creation/maintenance to support implementation.
  • Demonstrate the standards and principles of the Five Star Bank experience in every interaction with internal and external customers, associates, and stakeholders. Incorporate the high-performance behaviors of teamwork, leading by example, and service in every facet of work.
