We are seeking the talents of a Retail Marketing, Associate Manager (M/F) to contribute to the next chapter of Sézane’s journey. This position will report into our US Offline Marketing Manager. This position is based in Los Angeles and will require domestic travel as required for projects. As Retail Marketing, Associate Manager, your missions will be the following: In collaboration with our US Offline Marketing Manager, own the planning and execution of Sézane’s offline marketing roadmap locally across the US and Canada with an emphasis on retail marketing and activations, store and pop-up openings, offline print campaigns and local (non-product) partnerships.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in retail marketing, community engagement, or creative project management spaces (preferably but not obligatorily within the fashion, lifestyle or retail industries).
  • Must be Los Angeles-based and able to work in person at our West Hollywood office with domestic travel for openings and activations throughout the year.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Familiar working across multiple time zones and with key team members located in other states or countries.
  • Familiar with offline marketing campaign mechanisms and execution.
  • Proficient in basic copywriting principles.
  • Detail and process-oriented with strong time management, organizational skills, and keen eye for process improvement.
  • Solution-oriented and willing to take on new challenges by proactively proposing solutions and options for different scenarios, big and small.
  • Good negotiation skills & ability to manage relationships with established vendors.
  • Comfortable leading multiple projects simultaneously within a small team.
  • Dialed into the cultural scene & happenings of core cities throughout the US.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong network of print and asset production partners is a plus but not required.
  • Bilingual (French / English) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the retail marketing calendar, roadmap, and budget for all US stores and pop-ups, working with Retail and HQ teams to plan and deliver in-store activations tied to key moments.
  • Brief Retail teams on the visual set up, expectations, and run for marketing programs, providing clear direction, constraints and timelines for each activation in a timely manner.
  • Lead the coordination and execution of retail and other customer-facing events, working with Sézane Influence, Events, and Communications teams for cohesion.
  • Source local and recurring partners that align with Sézane’s DNA to build and maintain partnerships that strengthen brand presence and resonate with Sézane audiences across the US and Canada.
  • Report monthly on relevant activations, retail marketing initiatives, and client experiences happening across the US & Canada within the fashion, beauty, lifestyle and cultural landscapes.
  • Act as the on-the-ground lead for activations, overseeing event installations / productions, team training on retail marketing, and openings while coordinating with remote teams and vendors.
  • Facilitate traditional offline marketing like direct mail, billboards, and print, ensuring alignment with brand standards and resonance for local markets.
  • Manage retail marketing budget with monthly reports and ensure all retail marketing related expenses are properly allocated and classified.
  • In collaboration with our Paris-based creative team, guide copy and asset creation for offline marketing needs, managing local production and distribution across the US.
