Summary The Retail Insights Analyst plays a critical role in driving the success of the Retail Strategy team by transforming data collected by in-store Retail Representatives into accurate, timely, and actionable business insights. This role supports both client-facing and internal initiatives, including developing recurring client reports, responding to ad hoc client requests, and equipping senior leadership with the data and insights needed to inform strategic decision-making. The Retail Insights Analyst will report to the Sr. Director of Retail Strategy and will also work closely with the Director of Business Intelligence. This role offers a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of analytics and strategy. It offers frequent exposure to senior leadership and a unique opportunity to translate complex data into meaningful recommendations that directly influence business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitatively rigorous field, with a strong foundation in data analysis and problem-solving (e.g., Business, Management Information Systems (MIS), Finance, Data Science)
  • Strong interest in data analysis and turning raw data into insights for decision-making
  • Rigorous attention to detail and accuracy, paired with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, proactively communicating trade-offs, timelines, and capacity constraints
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate in a team-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Power Point and Power BI preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own the analysis of retail execution data, proactively identifying outcomes, trends, risks, and opportunities that drive actionable recommendations.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, compelling narratives through high-quality client-facing reports, dashboards, and presentations in Power Point and Power BI
  • Independently manage and prioritize recurring work and ad hoc requests, delivering accurate, timely insights in a fast-paced environment.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Business Intelligence and Retail Systems teams to enhance reporting capabilities, automation, and data quality.
  • Uphold a high standard of data integrity by validating outputs, identifying discrepancies, and resolving reporting or system issues.
  • Contribute meaningfully in team and leadership discussions, bringing a data-driven perspective to retail strategy and client conversations.
  • Continuously build business acumen, connecting retail insights to broader strategic goals.
