About The Position

The Retail Field Quality role owns the process of ensuring quality and inventory standards of deliveries of product to independent customer's retail locations are met. The Retail Field Quality role maintains relationships with our independent customer base within an assigned region and delivers customer insights back to internal business partners to enhance product delivery, reduction in shrink, and make recommendations to enhance store and warehouse environments. The Retail Field Quality role will partner across Supply Chain, Transportation, Procurement, Commercial, ICQA, and independent customers to recommend and implement improvements around retail quality to drive long-term enhancements and efficiencies for the organization and drive customer satisfaction. The Retail Field Quality role will also prepare and provide analysis of delivery and quality issues and trends to relevant internal and external business partners and provide recommendations to remedy issues and make enhancements to mitigate future issues.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Decision-making, coaching, influencing, and team-building skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with inventory management or warehousing systems and software preferred.
  • The ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, pull, stoop, grip, carry, and lift objects from 20lbs to 60 lbs.
  • Minimum of 5 years of applicable experience
  • High School Diploma - General Studies

Responsibilities

  • Conducting targeted store visits, accompanying deliveries, and performing pallet quality and item-level audits using internal tools.
  • Analyzing and fixing problems by collaborating with stakeholders (customers, Sales, Customer Service, Transportation, etc.), and assessing reports (e.g. credit, shrink) to determine visit frequency and recommended actions
  • Receiving, reviewing, documenting, and reconciling customer-identified delivery and product issues via communication with internal or external teams.
  • Generating detailed site visit reports with photographic evidence; present findings and solutions as needed.
  • Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions; update or establish SOPs and Best Business Practices
