In this role, you’ll manage all retail operations throughout the resort, including year-round outlets such as Marrakesh Market, Indigo Swimwear & Accessories, Kalahari Outpost, and The Last Bite. You’ll operate in a “for-profit” environment, seeking pop-up opportunities throughout the resort, while ensuring guest service is beyond expectations. You’ll also monitor inventory levels, manage budgets, and meet monthly sales goals while fostering a positive working environment. As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll enhance the guest and associate experience by leading dynamic retail operations that offer convenient, high-quality shopping experiences throughout the resort. Through strong leadership and support, you’ll empower associates to deliver exceptional service while fostering a positive, engaging work environment.    The anticipated hire date for this position is late Summer 2026.

Requirements

  • We do require that you have a minimum of four years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field. 
  • At least 1-2 years of management experience in a hotel, resort or retail environment is required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all retail operations across the resort, ensuring profitable performance, brand consistency, and exceptional guest service.
  • Lead, coach, and develop retail associates to foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
  • Manage budgets, inventory, and financial performance, including forecasting, purchasing, and meeting sales targets.
  • Identify and implement merchandising strategies and pop-up retail opportunities that enhance the guest experience and drive revenue.
  • Develop and enforce operational standards and procedures to ensure compliance, efficiency, and a consistently high-quality retail environment.
