We're hiring Retail Assistant Managers to Live. Work. Explore. this summer! Job Summary:Supports the Manager in staffing, ensuring customer satisfaction, and overseeing daily operations while adhering to budgetary guidelines for labor and sales goals. Requirements

  • Must be enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service and detail oriented.
  • Must have skills in effective oral communication, computer, and math in addition to strong problem-solving and resolution.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying supplies, boxes, bags of ice, and bundles of wood. Some locations require frequent trips up & down stairs.
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
  • Working safely with required chemicals.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous management experience in retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Manager with the staffing, customer satisfaction, daily procedures and operations.
  • Follow all budgetary guidelines for labor and sales goals.
  • Coach and ensure your associates are performing their job duties and providing customer service.
  • Actively complete reports and evaluations to Managers.
  • Work directly with vendors to order products and maintain inventory.
  • Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned.
