The Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools (KCKPS) is a nationally recognized urban school district that serves approximately 22,000 students and 60+ different languages are spoken in the homes of our students. JOB GOAL : The goal of the Restorative Practices Facilitator role is to foster a culture of understanding, accountability, and healing within the school and broader community. Through comprehensive training, consultation, and facilitation, the aim is to empower staff, students, parents, and community members of USD 500 with the tools and resources necessary to resolve conflicts and address harm in a constructive and restorative manner. This includes guiding individuals through restorative processes such as conferences, circles, and support systems, while also collaborating with various stakeholders to address systemic issues and disparities in disciplinary practices.
