About The Position

Responsible for research and analysis of historical and current data. Collaborates in the design and development of reports that provide school and district information for performance improvement and instructional support. Reports may be interactive data visualizations that dynamically monitor key performance analytics or traditional research publications. Develops and provides training, technical direction, and support to school and district staff in data analysis, program evaluation design, and implementation. Responds to ad hoc information requests from leadership and internal/external clientele. Effectively communicates research and evaluation results orally or via written form. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice or related field, or an equivalent amount of related experience.
  • Three or more years’ experience in Psychology, Social Work, Restorative Justice, or related field.
  • Training and experience in implementation of Restorative Justice preferred.
  • Secondary experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of the Positive Behavior Intervention Support Initiative.
  • Experience in implementing data-driven initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Culturally Responsive Education and Inclusive Excellence/Equity practices.
  • Knowledge of trauma informed practices.
  • Ability to provide coaching, consultation, and collaboration with school staff, parents and the community.
  • Ability to analyze, track, and monitor data for effective decision making.
  • Ability to conduct effective information sharing, training, and interactive presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to use research-based behavior interventions at the universal, targeted and intensive levels.
  • Ability to work effectively with timelines.
  • Ability to work as a contributing member to the school safety and MTSS teams.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft (Teams, Word, Excel).
  • Three or more years experience in Psychology, Social Work, Restorative Justice practices or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Training and experience in implementation of Restorative Justice preferred.
  • Secondary experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Train and coach school staff members in restorative practices.
  • Resolve conflicts within the school environment, including those between staff and students as well as between students, using restorative practices, including mediation between parties, writing agreements between various parties to resolve conflict, and serving as a trusted adult so issues may be resolved before there is a major conflict within the community.
  • Analyze, track, and monitor data related to discipline, instruction, and the CFS grant.
  • Member of the school safety and MTSS teams.
  • Contribute to the development of school policy related to restorative practices.
