About The Position

The Tryst Trading Company Food Group is seeking Hosts to join our dynamic team. Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years, or must have parental consent.
  • Availability to work on weekends and holidays is essential.
  • Must possess strong oral communication skills in English.

  • Capability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greeting all guests and providing assistance as needed.
  • Anticipating and promptly responding to guest needs.
  • Managing the guest wait-list and wait-time expectations.
  • Efficiently managing and utilizing seating charts.
  • Maintaining a clean, stocked, and organized Hoststand.
  • Escorting guests to their tables and providing them with menus.
  • Providing initial water service and assisting with refills.
  • Supporting the service team by assisting with clearing and preparing tables for new guests.
  • Effectively communicating guest needs and requests to the Server staff.
  • Answering guest questions regarding the company and menu items.
  • Maintaining a strong and current knowledge of all food and beverage offerings.
  • Consistently maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Performing assigned Running Sidework and Closing Sidework.
  • Executing tasks or duties as directed by the Manager on Duty.
  • Adhering to all good food safety practices.
  • Ensuring every guest has an enjoyable experience from arrival to departure.
