About The Position

We are hiring a motivated and detail-oriented Restaurant Host & Operations Intern to support daily front-of-house operations while assisting management with administrative and organizational duties. This internship provides hands-on experience in hospitality management, restaurant operations, and team coordination. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, creative, and eager to learn the inner workings of restaurant leadership.

  • Proficiency in basic computer programs (Microsoft, Canva, or similar tools preferred)
  • Must be able to work a variable schedule, including weekends, holidays and special events as needed

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming first impression
  • Manage reservations and waitlists
  • Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest experience
  • Communicate guest needs effectively with servers and kitchen staff
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized host stand and entrance area
  • Assist in designing and updating restaurant menus (layout, formatting, and presentation)
  • Help create and modify restaurant floor plans to improve efficiency and service flow
  • Support the development of opening and closing duty checklists for line-level staff
  • Assist with staff coordination and task assignments
  • Observe and support daily operational procedures
