About The Position

Seeking a host to join our team! The host is one of the most crucial positions in a restaurant. The host is the first person the guest see and engages with. A Host also controls the flow of the restaurant the entire shift.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Provide excellent customer service
• Ability to work in standing position for long periods of time
• Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed
• Must be flexible & available to work weekends, holidays, Day/Night

Responsibilities

• Answering Phone
• Knowledgeable of menu items and specials
• Room service & To Go orders
• Seating guests and answering initial questions
• Providing wait times when necessary
• Ensuring cleanliness & hygiene standards are met in FOH as well as some areas in BOH
• Assisting with opening and closing of restaurant
• Assigning guests to tables they prefer while being mindful of rotation so servers receive the same amount of tables
• Complete any side work assigned
