One of the most beloved resorts in New England, The Woodstock Inn & Resort, is seeking a Restaurant Host/Hostess to join the team! Job Summary: The Restaurant Host/Hostess warmly welcomes everyone while proactively greeting and seating guests in the restaurants.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Experience in hospitality industry in similar position.
- Standing and walking for extended period of time.
- Must be able to lift & move 75lbs.
- Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Answers phone.
- Take and confirm reservations.
- Greets and seat guests within proper rotation.
- Manage a wait list.
- Completes cover count sheet.
- Presents menus and wine lists.
- Maintain a visually clean and organized work area.
- Assists in clearing and resetting tables.
- Ensures guest satisfaction.
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
- Acknowledge and greet all guests, anticipate guest needs, and respond to guest inquiries and comments.
