About The Position

We are seeking an energetic, creative, and hands-on Restaurant Chef to help lead our culinary operations in our a la carte restaurant. This role works closely with the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Front-of-House leadership to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. This position is ideal for a passionate culinary professional who thrives in a high-volume, service-driven environment and enjoys creating seasonal menus, daily specials, and elevated presentations.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Restaurant Chef or Sous Chef (private club experience preferred)
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts preferred
  • ServSafe Certified
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and professionalism
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Create, cost, and execute seasonal menus and daily specials for the a la carte restaurant
  • Prepare and oversee all food production including sauces, soups, proteins, vegetables, starches, salads, and sushi
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, portion control, and timely service
  • Oversee restaurant buffet setups, presentation, breakdown, and special events
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness
  • Assist with hiring, scheduling, training, and supervising culinary staff
  • Order kitchen supplies and assist with monthly inventory
  • Minimize food waste and loss through proper controls
  • Interact professionally with members and guests, delivering excellent customer service
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
