Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Restaurant Chef – Sortino’s. In this role, you will be responsible for leading culinary operations at our popular Italian food outlet. You’ll assist in preparing food for all restaurant and room service meals, and in hiring, training, scheduling, and directing restaurant culinary and kitchen staff. As well as visually inspecting all food products to be served to ensure they meet the quality standards set by departmental and resort management. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen and storage areas, while minimizing waste and maximizing the cost/production ratio. As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll help create an exceptional guest experience by ensuring every dish is prepared with consistency, quality, and care. You’ll also support and mentor the culinary team, fostering a positive kitchen environment that drives both associate growth and excellent service.
