As a Restaurant Assistant General Manager, you’ll support the General Manager in leading daily operations, training staff, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for every guest.

Requirements

A passion for service with a positive, can-do attitude.
An interest in training and developing future F&B leaders.
Extensive knowledge of F&B operational procedures.
The desire to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to any situation.
Ability to creatively problem solve and deliver results.
Knowledge of purchasing, inventory controls, supplies, and equipment.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience is required; experience with the specific brand hotel or upscale property is an added plus.

Responsibilities

Report to the Restaurant General Manager and support associates by directing daily operations and creating an excellent guest experience.
Oversee and ensure the proper training of all F&B personnel following the White Lodging Way guidelines.
Monitor communications, morale, and motivation of all F&B personnel.
Ensure food, liquor, wine, and other beverage costs are in line with budget.
Oversee Food and Beverage operations during meal periods, ensuring tasks such as cooking, clearing tables, serving, taking orders, delivering room service, and cleaning are performed in accordance with brand standards.
Assist with or issue accurate weekly forecasts to enable the creation of effective plans and schedules that maximize guest satisfaction.
Perform any other duties as required by the Restaurant General Manager.
