About The Position

We are seeking a proven hospitality leader to serve as Dual General Manager for our SpringHill Suites and Homewood Suites located in Carle Place, NY. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for an experienced operator with deep extended-stay expertise, a strong revenue and RevPAR performance record, and hands-on union management experience. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, results-driven leader who excels in people development, revenue optimization, and brand excellence, while successfully managing a union workforce.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of General Manager experience, preferably as a Dual GM
  • Strong extended-stay hotel experience (Homewood Suites, Residence Inn, Staybridge Suites, etc.)
  • Direct experience managing unionized hotel environments
  • Demonstrated success driving RevPAR growth, revenue strategy, and market share
  • Proven sales leadership with measurable business development results
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&Ls
  • Excellent communication, labor relations, and negotiation skills
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive to customer appointments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for both hotels, ensuring full alignment with brand standards
  • Drive RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and GOP growth through proactive revenue management, sales strategy, and market positioning
  • Lead and partner with unionized associates, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements and fostering positive labor relations
  • Develop, mentor, and retain high-performing leadership teams with a proven track record of employee retention and engagement
  • Oversee sales and marketing initiatives, including extended-stay accounts, corporate business, and local market penetration
  • Collaborate closely with ownership, asset management, and brand partners to achieve and exceed financial objectives
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L with disciplined financial oversight
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction scores, brand audits, and quality assurance performance
  • Create a culture of accountability, service excellence, and operational consistency across both properties
