A Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) provides comprehensive respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions across all age groups. This role performs diagnostic testing, administers and evaluates ordered therapies, and collaborates with physicians to develop and implement individualized plans of care. The Respiratory Therapist responds to emergent situations, including codes, educates patients and families, maintains respiratory equipment and supplies, and ensures accurate documentation in the electronic medical record while adhering to evidence‑based practices and regulatory standards. Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy required
  • Current Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) licensure is required
  • (BCLS) Basic Life Support certification is required
  • ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire
  • Ability to successfully complete the skills competency checklist within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) preferred
