About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with advanced critical care experience to support a high-acuity clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ECMO, ventilator management, and emergency respiratory care, delivering high-quality patient care across various clinical settings.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience
Minimum 1 year of ECMO Specialist experience (required)
Active State Respiratory Therapy License (or pending at submission, active by start date)
First-time travelers accepted (must have ECMO experience)
CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist)
RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
BLS
ACLS
PALS

Nice To Haves

ECMO: VV ECMO preferred
Ventilator Management: BiPAP, CPAP, SIMV, weaning protocols
ABG Interpretation & Arterial Punctures
Airway Management: Intubation assist, suctioning, tracheostomy care
Oxygen Therapy: HFNC, ET Tube, Trach collar, T-piece
Medication Administration: Albuterol, Atrovent, Nitric Oxide, Pulmicort, etc.
Nebulizer Treatments: Cold, heated, ultrasonic
Patient Transport: Intra/interdepartmental

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive respiratory care, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients
Manage advanced ventilator settings and support weaning protocols
Assist with airway management, including intubation support, suctioning, and tracheostomy care
Perform and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
Administer respiratory medications and therapies
Support ECMO therapy, including monitoring and troubleshooting
Assist with patient transport (intra- and interdepartmental)
Respond to respiratory emergencies and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical protocols
