About The Position

The Clinical Coordinator is a member of faculty who works under the supervisor of the Program Director and is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the philosophy and objectives of the program specific to the clinical requirements of the program. What you will do Instructor is evaluated on activities that support learning, including instructional design, delivery (both residential and distance methods), assessment, course management, and academic advising. Engages in scholarly activities in instructor's area of expertise including discovering, developing, and/or creating new knowledge, disseminating information, and translating information into products or services of value to the college. Participates in non-teaching responsibilities (service activities) that contribute to the achievement of goals and objectives of the institution and the profession. Accountable for program, student, and graduate outcomes related to course pass rate. Accountable for program, student, and graduate outcomes for exam pass rates. Accountable for program, student, and graduate outcomes for retention. Accountable for program, student, and graduate outcomes for evaluations.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy, Education or a Related field (Required)
  • 3-4 years Clinical or teaching experience (Required)
  • CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Required)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - The National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) (Required)
