About The Position

Resource Readiness Controller Training Manager Key Role: Provide analytical, advisory, management, te chn ical, and functional support to accomplish all assigned tasks and subtasks. Serve as the principal advisor to the organization commander on all issues related to training readiness and execution. Plan, schedule, and ensure the execution and training readiness of aircrew and ground training requirements for all Squadron -assigned personnel. Maintain responsibility for leading the development of new curriculum and syllabi for aircrew and ground training for assigned personnel. Monitor and maintain unit deployment readiness statistics and implement deployment readiness guidance.

Requirements

  • Experience with computer-based training and learning management systems, such as PEX
  • Experience with DoD administrative and record management or program support
  • Experience in managing personnel training
  • Experience with using Microsoft SharePoint
  • Ability to travel to OCONUS locations up to 25% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a Unit Training Manager in an Air Force flying unit
  • Experience in working with Air Force record management systems
  • Experience working in a DoD operational flying unit
  • Experience with High Altitude ISR
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
