About The Position

As a Residential Sales Consultant (RSC), you are a trusted advisor for homeowners, diagnosing their comfort needs and offering innovative solutions. This is an outside sales position that blends consultative selling, customer education, and relationship management. You will maximize your success by leveraging internal warm leads, company-provided lead pipelines, and traditional self-generation techniques to close residential HVAC and water heater opportunities. Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning provides HVAC and plumbing maintenance and repair to homes and businesses. A strong focus on the customer experience has persisted throughout Service Experts’ history. Even today, Service Experts continues its strong focus on growth. Requirements

  • High school degree or GED required.
  • 2+ years of proven sales experience.
  • Strong business development abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Talent for closing sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to educate customers and present technical concepts clearly.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to understand customer concerns and translate that into business solutions the business can offer.
  • A dedication to providing high-quality, customer-focused service.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to navigate residential environments, including climbing ladders and maneuvering in attics, basements, and crawl spaces to accurately assess customer needs.
  • Available to work flexible hours to meet customer demand and on-call shifts as needed.
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate a positive attendance record.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor’s degree or related professional sales certifications.
  • Preference for direct-to-consumer (B2C) selling.

Responsibilities

  • Present tailored comfort options for high-efficiency HVAC and water heater systems to new and established customers.
  • Build lasting relationships through a customer-focused approach, ensuring satisfaction, trust, and retention.
  • Drive growth by working both incoming internal leads and your own prospect pipeline to close sales.
  • Partner with our technical team members during site visits to ensure solutions are perfectly tailored to the home’s requirements, fostering a 100% satisfaction experience.
  • Remain a market expert, staying updated on the latest trends, energy-efficient technology, and innovative service methods.
