About The Position

Storm Guard is seeking an Entry-Level Residential Roofing Sales Consultant (Outside Sales) to join our growing team. As a Residential Roofing Sales Consultant (Outside Sales), you will generate leads, inspect properties, meet with homeowners and insurance adjusters, and close sales for exterior restoration projects. This is a field-based, door-to-door role that requires comfort with prospecting, climbing roofs, and working outdoors in varying conditions. This is an entry-level role with a comprehensive training program using Storm Guard's proven sales systems, scripts, and playbooks. Prior roofing experience is not required, but grit, accountability, and a willingness to learn are. If you’re afraid of heights, this is not a job for you.

  • Please note that a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting for new business through door knocking, referrals, and local networking
  • Contacting and scheduling meetings with homeowners to assess needs and present solutions
  • Inspecting roofs and properties safely and professionally
  • Coordinating and meeting with insurance adjusters as needed
  • Presenting solutions and earning signed work authorizations
  • Following up promptly with customers and maintaining strong relationships
  • Generating referrals and requesting customer reviews
  • Using CRM and company tools to track activity and manage pipeline
