About The Position

As a Residential Program Manager at Glenkirk, you will take a leadership role in overseeing the operations and management of our residential programs. Your responsibilities will include program development, staff supervision, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to individuals in our care. This position requires a strong combination of organizational, managerial, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, etc.) required.
  • Certification as a QIDP or eligibility for QIDP certification.
  • Previous experience in program management, preferably in a residential or similar setting.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards for residential programs.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement residential programs that align with the organization's mission and goals. Ensure programs meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Staff Supervision and Development: Supervise, train, and mentor residential staff, providing guidance and support. Conduct regular performance evaluations and facilitate professional development opportunities.
  • Client Support and Advocacy: Collaborate with case managers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for residents. Advocate for the needs and rights of residents, promoting a person-centered approach.
  • Budget Management: Oversee budgetary aspects of residential programs, including expenses, resource allocation, and financial reporting. Identify cost-saving measures without compromising the quality of services.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis intervention and response protocols. Provide guidance to staff in managing challenging situations and emergencies.
  • Community Engagement: Establish and maintain positive relationships with the local community, service providers, and relevant agencies. Promote community integration initiatives for program participants.
