We are seeking a Plumbing Instructor who is passionate about mentoring, teaching, and making a lasting impact on the construction industry by preparing future plumbers for success.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional plumbing experience
  • Hands-on experience in single-family and multi-family construction projects
  • Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Passion for mentoring and developing future trades professionals
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Manual dexterity to operate plumbing tools, equipment, and training materials
  • Ability to work in classroom, shop, and construction environments, including exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
  • Visual and auditory ability to safely demonstrate techniques, observe student performance, and provide instruction

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging classroom instruction covering essential plumbing skills, techniques, and industry knowledge
  • Lead hands-on training exercises and simulations to reinforce practical, real-world learning
  • Coordinate on-the-job training opportunities with division teams to enhance trainee experience
  • Track and maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and training activities
  • Collaborate with division managers to identify current and future training needs
  • Promote and enforce all company safety standards to maintain a secure learning environment
