With newly built, state-of-the-art training facilities, they deliver hands-on programs in plumbing, HVAC, facilities maintenance, and electromechanical systems. They are seeking a skilled and passionate Plumbing Instructor to help train the next generation of trades professionals. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on plumbing experience
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, safety practices, and codes
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse learners
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer skills (email, recordkeeping, LMS platforms)
Nice To Haves
- Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent certification
- Teaching, training, or mentoring experience (especially with adult learners)
- Experience in workforce development or apprenticeship programs
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, hands-on plumbing instruction (residential & light commercial)
- Teach core topics including pipe systems, installation, troubleshooting, and code compliance
- Develop lesson plans, lab exercises, and assessments aligned with industry standards
- Adapt instruction to meet the needs of adult learners with varying experience levels
- Track student progress and provide coaching, feedback, and remediation
