About The Position

The Residential Manager II oversees and participates in the development and delivery of services designed to further the abilities of adults with developmental disabilities to live, learn and work in a more independent and inclusive manner. The Residential Manager II is responsible for direct support, administrative duties and management of staff in the designated program. This position oversees a program and works both direct support hours and administrative hours.

Requirements

  • 2 years of general management experience required
  • A criminal and Motor Vehicle record which meets company standards.
  • A valid Colorado Driver’s license.
  • Verified legal status to work in the United States.
  • Ability to use computers fluently (Internet, Word Processing).
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic money management and budgeting skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and adept at performing multiple tasks at once.

Nice To Haves

  • College Degree Preferred.
  • Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant/Aide training is preferred.
  • Previous experience in health care, human services, or nursing home setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Oversight: Ensure all shifts are covered, staffing aligns with budget and client needs, assessments are completed on time, and budget input is provided and followed, including efficient scheduling and timekeeping review.
  • Leadership & Staff Supervision: Train, mentor, and evaluate staff; set clear expectations; recognize strong performance; address concerns professionally; and lead monthly staff meetings.
  • Recruitment & Human Resources: Notify HR of vacancies, assist in hiring processes, and maintain high standards for staff competency and accountability.
  • Program & Household Management: Oversee menu planning, client fund reconciliation, medication supply management, billing, and MAR reviews, while supporting functional program areas.
  • Person-Centered Support: Promote dignity, rights, choices, and growth opportunities for individuals, ensuring access to community resources and encouraging environmental ownership.
  • Individualized Care & Coordination: Implement and monitor Individualized Plans, assist with personal care and physical transfers, and coordinate with the Interdisciplinary Team.
  • Health & Medical Oversight: Attend medical appointments, communicate health changes, administer medications properly, follow protocols, and maintain accurate health documentation.
  • Safety & Risk Management: Ensure a safe, clean environment; follow emergency protocols; conduct drills; maintain vehicles; and identify and report hazards or maintenance needs.
  • Documentation & Communication: Maintain accurate records, respond to correspondence, document shifts, and enter attendance and billing in a timely and compliant manner.
