Requirements

  • Associate degree (A.A) is desirable or some college and/or 2-3 years of related work experience
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience originating and/or processing conventional mortgages
  • Working knowledge of industry related TRID/HMDA/CFPB regulations and requirements
  • Working knowledge of FNMA lending guidelines
  • Strong pipeline management skills
  • Working knowledge of various Loan Origination Systems
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and process a large volume of work
  • Working knowledge and comprehension of financial mathematical skills and ability to perform needed calculations

Nice To Haves

  • Credit Union work experience highly desirable but not necessary

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming mortgage loans from initial application to funding.
  • Duties include but not limited to ordering appraisal and title reports, requesting documents from members and verifying document data for accuracy, providing loan status updates, and effectively managing daily pipeline reports in order to prioritize workload and meet transaction deadlines.
  • Additional duties include preparation of loan documents upon receipt of final approval and working closely with other team members in order to provide outstanding service to our valued members.
  • Daily communication with Members and internal staff
  • Other duties as assigned, in order to support the residential lending team.
  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act and the Office of Foreign Assets Control
